A colour consultation is a personalised service where I guide you through selecting the perfect paint colours for your home. Together, we consider your space, natural and artificial lighting, furnishings, and personal style to create a harmonious palette. I provide expert advice on undertones, finishes, and how colours will work together.

What if I’m not sure which colours I like?

No problem at all! Part of my role is helping you discover the colours that truly suit your home and your style. Through conversation, sample testing, and curated options, I make the process simple and enjoyable, leaving you with a palette you’ll love for years to come.

Do you only help with wall colours?

While walls are the main focus, I also provide guidance on ceilings, trims, doors, cabinetry, and feature walls. My aim is to create a full, cohesive colour scheme so every element in your home works beautifully together and enhances the overall flow and atmosphere.

How much do colour consultants charge?

Colour consultation fees in Australia can vary depending on the scope of the project, location, and the consultant's experience. On average:

  • Hourly rates typically range from $100 to $200 AUD.

  • Per-room consultations can cost between $150 and $300 AUD.

  • Full-home consultations may range from $500 to $1,000+ AUD, depending on the size and complexity.

Why are your rates lower than some other colour consultants?

While I’m a recent graduate, I bring extensive experience and a strong eye for colour from working on a variety of projects. My lower rates simply reflect that I’m starting out in my own business, so you get professional, personalised guidance at a more accessible price. It’s a win-win: you receive expert advice while I build my portfolio, and you save money without compromising on quality.
